Start-seq

Start-seq is an RNA sequencing method that provides single nucleotide resolution of the 5' ends of short (30~150nt), chromatin-associated, capped RNAs.  Because these transcripts are enriched in the size range common for enhancer RNAs, this method is useful for identification of enhancer elements and profiling the transcriptional responses of enhancers to experimental perturbations.
