Research Proposal presentation (instructions)

Research Proposal Presentation

Date:May 28

Time: from 10:00  -13:00

you will receive an invitation for a webex meeting

General rules:

Every group will have 15 min (20 min max) to present their project + 15-10 min of discussion (all students are invited to ask questions to their colleagues - for each presentation we expect at least 1 question coming from each of the other groups)

Organization of the presentation:

In the ppt presentation you must include all main aspects of the proposal (except the abstract) - consider to limit the number of slides (as a rule of thumb consider 1slide/1 min , so an average of 15slides/presentation should be OK)

Be very concise: little test - bullet style - use figures or schematics

The last slide of the presentation can include "future perspectives"  if you have developed ideas that go behind the data presented in the paper chosen as basis for the proposal (optional).

To avoid loss of time only one member of the group will share the screen with the power point presentation and will control slide progression throughout the whole presentation.

Time schedule:

All students are invited to attend the presentations and to actively participate to the discussion

Every group will have 30' time in total

Order of presentations (estimated time)
