Dear students, I forward you a message from Jeroen Pasterkamp on the summer school he is organizing in Utrecht.
see you on Wednesday.
SDM
The fifth annual Utrecht Summer School on 'Neural Circuit Development and Plasticity' will be held from July 10-14, 2017. As in previous years, we have assembled an exciting program with a fine line-up of international speakers.
Our summer school is aimed at advanced master students and starting PhD students with the goal to engage them in recent advances in neural circuit development and plasticity from an interdisciplinary perspective. Introductory lectures by the organizers on the first day will be followed by a series of lectures by renowned international speakers. In addition, participants work on assignments that require extensive discussion between the lecturers, staff and participants. The topics covered include advanced imaging approaches in neuroscience, neural circuit development, neuronal signaling and aspects of synaptic plasticity.
We can maximally accommodate 40 attendants. Students from all over the world can apply and will be selected by the organizers based on their background and excellence. In the past years, we have hosted many of your students and hope that also this year you have candidates in your lab that could benefit from this course.
Application deadline: June 1 2017
