Advanced Cell Biology and Biotechnology

The main objective is to develop the ability to understand and critically analyze the results of the recent scientific literature.
Topics are: signal transduction, intracellular transport, cell cycle, autophagocytosis, cell differentiation, cell-cell communication and interaction. In addition, students have to develope their strategy for the expression of a GFP-fusion protein in an eucaryotic cell line.

Cell Neurobiology (Neuro)

SVB0069-2015 This course aims to provide students with an advanced knowledge of cell and molecular biology of neurons, glia and other neural cell types

Interdisciplinary Activities

INTERAC-2015 Interdisciplinary activities between classes of the 1st semester (ACBB, Physiology, Virology)

Virology (BioMed, BioMol)

VB0046-2016 The Virology course aims to provide students with an advanced knowledge of the cell and molecular biology of animal viruses, the interactions between viruses and cells in which they replicate, and the applications of viruses to deliver and express either their own or foreign genes.
